Dawn Scott is the founder of Believe in Our Vizion, a nonprofit committed to restoring faith, strengthening families, and rebuilding self-worth in today’s youth. Born in South Jamaica, Queens, Dawn’s early life was shaped by loss, instability, and the painful experience of feeling unseen and unheard.

Becoming a young mother and navigating the challenges of abusive relationships, Dawn made a courageous decision to change the trajectory of her life. In 2003, she relocated to Atlanta with a clear purpose: to create a safer, more hopeful future not only for her children, but for others facing similar struggles.

Rooted in faith and driven by resilience, Dawn has transformed her personal journey into a mission of impact. Through Believe in Our Vizion, she creates spaces where young people feel seen, valued, and safe—empowering them to find their voice, embrace their worth, and believe in their potential. Her work stands as a testament to the power of healing, purpose, and unwavering commitment to the next generation.
